Andra Colman graduated from San Francisco State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Human Movement Studies. In 2000, Andra graduated from Chapman University with a Master of Physical Therapy degree and a minor specialization in pediatrics.
For the last 19 years, Andra has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She began her career at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center as an in-patient physical therapist, providing care to post-op patients, ICU patients, and general medical patients. Within a year, she moved to outpatient, orthopedic physical therapy at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. While working in the outpatient setting, Andra provided physical therapy services for orthopedic patients, supervised physical therapy students, and provided presentations to the general public on congestive heart failure.
Almost 5 years later, Andra began working at a dynamic outpatient, pediatric clinic, Cornerstone Therapies. While there, she was able to use NDT handling techniques to assist children as they learned to roll, sit, crawl, walk and eventually run.
And most recently, Andra started her own company, Colman Physical Therapy and continued her work with pediatric clients as well as focusing on home health.
Andra currently serves as the President of ESPT, in which she helps oversee the all day to day operations of the clinic.
When she is not working, Andra loves spending time with her husband and 3 boys. On the weekends she can often be found on a pool deck watching her boys swim competitively or play water polo. When she is not on a pool deck, she loves running and has run marathons and half marathons as well as 5 and 10K races.
