Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapist
Dr. Colin McDannel earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Colin has an extensive background in sports such as soccer and football and outdoor activities such as hiking and rock climbing.
His early career was in mental health services but he switched to physical therapy after rehabilitating a series of injuries. Colin believes that all patients should understand what is going on with their bodies and prides himself on ensuring each of his patient’s understand the rationale for every exercises and how it will benefit them.
Colin has extensive experience working with chronic pain patients and currently teaches a group exercise class for patients with chronic pain. He has also completed advanced training on technology based movement analysis to analyze running, jumping, walking, and other tasks with slow motion video. Outside of work Colin enjoys running, hiking, and playing music.
